Members of Karel Čapek Center, Ryan Jenkins, David Černý and Tomáš Hříbek edited a collective monograph, Autonomous Vehicle Ethics: The Trolley Problem and Beyond, which was published in September 2022 by the prestigious Oxford University Press. Černý and Hříbek also contributed their own chapters, as did another member of the Center, Daniel Novotný.
The volume is a so far the most extensive collection of text, all of them newly commissioned, on the topic of philosophical challenges of autonomous vehicles. In 26 chapters, it presents various perspectives from ethics, political philosophy, as well as philosophy of urban planning.
