Dita Malečková studied philosophy and information science at Charles University. She has lectured on contemporary philosophy, visual culture, arts and new media at the New Media Studies Department of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Charles University, at the Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts, Prague, and at the Prague College.
 

Since 2019, she has been collaborating with Jan Tyl on projects using neural networks. See the projects The Digital Philosopher (the winner of the Idea of the Year category, AI Awards 2019), and The Digital Writer, which was produced as a series for the Czech Public Radio in 2020. She is interested in media theory, the relationship between the natural and the artificial, the ethics of artificial intelligence, and the uses of imagination with respect to technological development.
